This morning we were running a little late. Adi has to be to school at 9:30 and she didn't get up till 8:55(my fault I lost track of time)so we were a little rushed. Luckily I didn't have to drive Brayden's carpool this morning or else we really would have been in trouble. So we are in her room getting her dressed and I get her socks out and she is going on and on about how it is cold and Buster needs his socks on too. She gets a pair of hers out of the drawer and I tell her they won't fit Buster. I tell her I will find him a pair while she is at school, this just makes her more upset because she is not leaving him home he has to go with her. So I tell her to put her shoes on while I go try and find a pair of Jace's baby socks. Luckily I had forgot to put away a few pairs of his newborn socks. Adi brings Buster to me and I put a pair on his front paws, she says to me "he needs some on his back feet" Are you kidding me? So I grabbed another pair and put them on his back feet. I was a little annoyed, but after I was done Adi had a huge smile and thanked me, how could I be mad? So of course I had to take pictures to document how crazy she is about Buster. She also informed me this morning that she wants a cage that looks like a princess house for Buster for her birthday. She cracks me up!! She has also taken to this stuffed cat we have, she named her Ima. She leaves Ima home, but tells me to keep an eye on her while she is gone so Jace doesn't bother her. She is so funny!

BYU game

Yesterday was a home game for BYU and so you can guess where we were. I was a little hesitant to go because of the weather, so I told BJ that if it was raining I wouldn't go, but if it wasn't I would. Well when it was time to go it wasn't raining so I "got" to go. It was much better than their last home game where it was like 90 degrees and so freaking hot on those metal bleachers! The weather was actually nice and perfect "football weather" until the fourth quarter when it started to rain. It was a steady rain and we got soaked. BJ finally said we could leave when there was about 6 minutes left. It was evident they were going to win so we could have left at the start of the fourth quarter and avoided the rain, but oh well, that is BJ for ya! We had a good time and thanks to grandma John for watching the kids!

Randomness
This is what I find almost everday when I come down from making beds, showering, laundry, etc.. He knows how to open the pantry all by himself, and get a stool, if necessary, and get his cheetos! He is crazy!
Adi and her bf Lexie. It was a little chilly and windy the other day so the girls came in to get jackets and this is what Adi came up with.(The red thing around her neck is actually a sash from her jeans) Where did she come from?
Brayden got a new xbox game and controller for his birthday and the kids have been over playing it a bit lately and so Jace thought he would take a turn too!
**Note the reason there are no randoms of Brayden is he is never around for me to take a picture of. He is getting so grown up and is always off at a friends house or out riding bikes, scooters, skateboards. I love our neighborhood and how there are so many kids. It has been such a blessing for us to move here and find a great neighborhood with lots of kids and such wonderful neighbors! I just love my neighbors I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone needs a Julianne for a neighbor!! We joke about how neither of us can ever move, but I am totally serious I would die if one of us had to move!!

Adi & Buster
This is Adi's dog Buster. I have no idea where she came up with the name, but she has started calling him that and it stuck. This is the dog that BJ used to propose to me. I have tried to throw it away everytime we move, but feel guilty everytime so I never did, and now I know why, it is Adi's Buster! She took it to school her first day for show-n-tell and on the way she was shushing me because she was trying to get Buster to sleep before school. So Friday morning we are getting ready to leave for school and she is freaking out because she wanted to take Buster to school again. I told her it wasn't show-n-tell and he needed to stay home. She was not ok with it and argued and argued with me, so I finally gave in(I'm a sucker)and let her take him. I told her he had to stay in her backpack and she couldn't take him out. Again on the way to school she is shushing me because he is going to sleep. So when I pick her up I start to ask about her day and she says "hurry and get home mom, Buster is about to wake up". Ok. He sleeps with her, eats at the table, you name it Buster does it with us. It is so funny! She even puts a bowl or cup of water on the floor for Buster. If her dad ever lets her get a dog she will be a great owner!

Wind damage
Tuesday night there was a big storm that rolled through Lehi, and out garage door took a beating. We were at Brayden's soccer game and my mom called to tell me she saw on tv a storm warning for Lehi. I said it was pretty dark, but the wind was barely blowing and we only had 10 minutes left so we would be fine. About 2 minutes after that I saw lightening by some nearby houses so I told BJ I was taking the kids to the car. By the time I had walked the short distance to the car the wind was blowing so hard that when I took Jace out of the stroller it blew away. We got in the car and waited for BJ and Brayden to come. A few minutes later they came running to the car and there was so much lightening around that BJ just pulled Brayden from the game and left. We are driving up the road and see our garbage can tipped over, so BJ and Brayden get out of the car to hurry and gather garbage while I run to gather toys and secure the stuff on the deck. I wasn't fast enough and a chair blew away. While I was gathering the other chairs I look up to see our neighbors shed blow over and just crumble. It was so crazy! While I am trying to get stuff put away on the deck BJ is yelling at me to open the garage a little because it was blowing so hard. Again I wasn't fast enough because by the time I got to it it had already blown it in, so when I opened it I heard a horrible, horrible noise. The good news is it didn't blow the tramp away and damage anyones home! The bad news is we have to get a new garage door. It doesn't look like it did that much damage, but we have to use a shovel to open and close it and can't use the automatice opneners, which really sucks!

Adi's First day of Preschool
Today Adi started preschool. All morning she kept asking "is it time to go?" And finally 9:30 came and it was time to go. I pulled up and her teacher, Mrs. Angie, was waiting outside for the kids. She got her picture taken and went and sat down to wait for the other kids. I gave her a kiss and told her I would be back in a little bit, she said "ok, bye". I thought I was going to be so sad, but I really wasn't. I went grocery shopping and then over to Old Navy, with just Jace and it was so nice! I did miss her, but she has been so excited to go to school that I figured if she wasn't sad, then I wouldn't be either! I think Jacey was a little lost without her, but we had fun, and it was nice to have some one on one time with just him. When I picked her up she was so excited to see me(which made me happy)and told me all about her day. When Brayden walked in from school Adi started telling him about her day and I heard him say "Oh Adi you are getting to be such a big girl!" It was so cute.
