Halloween

Halloween was fun and busy this year. Friday was a very busy day with all the kids having school, the elementary halloween parade, being in charge of Brayden's class party, and grandma bus' halloween party. We made it to everything and had a great time. Adisyn did decide 30 minutes before we left for grandma's that she wanted to be a pirate(like me) and so I had to make a quick run to Target and the party store to get her costume, but it all turned out great.

Fall Happenings

I am so far behind I don't even know where to start, so I am going to just roll everything we've done over the last 3 months into one big post.

Adi danced with the Lehi Pionettes and they got to perform at half time of a football game. Before the performance they got to get their hair and make up done. Oh they looked pretty!!

We have pretty much spent our weekends since August watching Bray play football. However we can't complain because we have enjoyed every minute of it! This was his first year of tackle football and it was good year. He was on a great team and they even made it to the playoffs, but fell short to make it to the championship game. Looks like football will continue a few more weeks because he is playing in a Ute Tournament up in SL.

We also went to Yellowstone over Fall break, but there are so many pictures that will be a post of its own, and of course Halloween still to come!

Mascot Bowl

We went to Lehi's Mascot Bowl again this year and had a great time. It is a football game where mascots from Utah and other states play football against the 8th grade football team. The kids look forward to it every year!

The kids were playing down on the field before the festivities got started. Adi snapping or dancing, The boys playing football. Yes, Adi got taken out once(on accident).

BJ of course enjoying himself at the game, Yeah he only lasted about half the game.

Jace starts Preschool

I know this post is about a month late, but I had to make sure he was going to really go before I wrote about it. And even still I am not 100% positive! Jace is a little stinker and loves to give me fits about going to school. Every school morning he tells me he is going to hide so he doesn't have to go. I think it is just for attention because he goes anyways, but I could do without the drama! He is going to the same preschool Adi went to and I really like the teacher. She says he is doing great so until I hear otherwise I guess I will believe her. He was not too happy for me to leave the first day, that is why the sad faces in all the pics!
He looks so grown up!

Brayden's Baptism

Brayden's big day finally came. He was baptized a member of the church on September 5, 2009. He was very excited to get baptized and we are so proud of him for the decision he made. It was such a special day, and a busy day. We had the baptism at 10, a football game at 12, lunch after the football game, and then of course the BYU football game at 5. What a day!! The baptism was so special and it was so great to have all of our family there to support him. I am so thankful for the wonderful support we get from our families!!! There was a such a strong spirit there it was just the perfect beginning of a perfect day! (other than the fact that his team lost their football game, but oh well they still played great, and BYU won, so all in all good day) I can't believe he is 8 already, and so grown up! What a great kid he is. Bray we love you so much!!!

So grown up!

He was so funny about the white jumpsuits. He was so embarrassed to be in it! He said he looked dumb, BJ reassured him he looked dumber!

Brayden has been looking forward to the chocolate fountain for weeks now. He kept saying "oh I can't wait to put my mouth under the warm chocolate." So after everyone got a chance to use the chocolate fountain she let the kids have at it. Oh what a mess!!!

The after

Just a cute conversation we had with Brayden on the morning of his baptism.
We are sitting eating breakfast and Brayden says:

Brayden: Mom, I didn't realize we lived so close the place where Jesus was baptized.
me : um we don't Brayden
Brayden: Yeah the Jordan River
me and BJ: look at each other and laugh and BJ explains not that Jordan River!
Too funny!!

First Days of School

Well 2 down 1 to go! Brayden started second grade last week, and Adi started kindergarten today. Brayden's was a breeze he knows kids and its his third year at the school so he was easy. He says he doesn't like 2nd grade, but I guess thats what you're suppose to say, but he does great and he better get use to school he still has atleast 10 more years of it!! Adi has been so excited to go to kindergarten and she said she had a good day. She told me it was a little long so if I could pick her up earlier next time that would be good for her. Sorry sweetie, better get use to it, it only gets longer!! And she loves recess!! Here's to another year, hope you guys have a good one!!

Rest of Summer 2009

Since summer is now officially over and school has started I thought I better catch up on some of the things we did this summer.

We did a little mini golfing, way way to hot to do in the heat, but still had fun!

Of course we went to Park City and did the Alpine Slide and shopped!
Brayden was big enough to go down alone this time, he loved it!

We went and did some fishing at Tibble Fork. Not my favorite, but I was a trooper

And we also went to the zoo as our last outing before school started
And last but not least we have officially started FOOTBALL SEASON!!! This is Brayden's first year of tackle football and so far it is a hit! Haven't even had our first game just the jamboree but he loves being out on the field playing so plenty more to come on this subject!
