Sports & Cheerleading

Well we are finally feeling settled in our new house and getting into some sort of routine. Brayden is getting settled in his new preschool.(I have to say I miss Small Stars so much, this one doesn't even compare, so all you who are still there you are so lucky, Mrs Nelson is the best!!!) He is getting settled in primary and the new ward, and has made some new friends in the neighborhood. A friend of BJ's from Vernal is in our ward and they have a little boy who is 4 and he and Brayden seemed to get along so that could be fun for him, but his favorite is our next door neighbor, Devon. He went over there last week to play and I think has been back everyday since then. I keep calling over there to see if he is bugging them yet, but Julianne assures me he is ok. I am so happy we are finally in a house/neighborhood where kids are close(right next door)that he can go outside and play with, he is loving it! I think when the weather gets warmer they will have so much fun outside in the yard.
Today after running errands I took the kids over to the Legacy Center to play in the gym and just run around for a little bit. We had a really good time shooting baskets and kicking a ball around. I got us a family pass last week and think we will really enjoy it. I go every morning and walk on the track, they have an indoor/outdoor pool(that we will really enjoy this summer), 3 gyms, and about every activity you can think of. So today while we were there I signed the kids up for various different activities. Like I need more things to do, but oh well, I think they will have fun. I signed Adi up for cheerleading. They do gymnastics, dance and cheer. I think it will be so cute, I can't wait! And I signed Brayden up for itty bitty sports. It is a 6 week course and they do basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. It will keep him pretty busy between that, school, and going to the neighbors, but he is excited to start!

All Moved

Well we did it, we finally got all moved. We signed all papers and finalized everything(I think). It has been the worst move we have done. And we have moved 5 times in the almost 6 years we have been married, but we plan to stay put for awhile! We closed on our new house on Tuesday(Jan 16)and then got a uhaul and packed up almost everything that night and planned to move stuff down mid morning on Wednesday(Jan 17). Well at 7:00am Wednesday morning I get a call from RC Willey saying they were delivering our fridge that morning between 8-10. I asked if they could come closer to 10, that way BJ would have time to load up the mattresses and few stray boxes and get down to the house. Well the guy told me no they will just get there when they get there. I was so mad, so we hurried and loaded up the mattresses and BJ took off. A few of his friends met him at the house to unload, so that all went smooth. In the mean time things were completely crazy at the old house with me and the kids. My mom, dad, and grandma were coming down to help me clean and watch the kids. I tried to get stuff done before they arrived, but the move has been hard on Jace and he would just scream if I put him down. So finally I tried calling BJ and Qwest had already shut our phone off, so I had to load the kids in the van and go to the gas station to call him and have him call my mom and see what was taking them, well by the time we got back to the house they had arrived, but what a morning!! So I loaded up my moms vehicle and took a load down to the new house, someone had to be at the new house all day so everything else could be hooked up so BJ decided he would go back to NSL and I should stay in Lehi and start unpacking. So I didn't even get to say good bye to my house or neighbors, but it was probably a good thing since I probably would have cried anyways! Well BJ and my parents made it back down to Lehi about 20 minutes before 5 which is when the uhaul had to be back so BJ and my dad cruised in to Provo to get it back on time and pulled in right at 5!! So it was a crazy move, but we love our house and the kids are loving it too. We think we will really like the ward and neighborhood!! So if anyone is ever down in the area please come visit us, we love to have company!

Elephants, Preschool, & Kisses

Well today was Brayden's last day at Small Stars Preschool. I have been dreading this day since we started building our house. We love his teacher, his friends, everything about his preschool. He has learned so much there and I am so sad to have to take him out. So far this has been the hardest thing for me. He wanted to take a special treat for his friends, so I ordered sugar cookies with elephants on them and then along with some candy and a note that said "Elephants never forget their friends, I will miss you!", and wrapped them up in cellophane. They turned out pretty cute. I dropped Adi and Jace off at Missy's so I could go take the treat and while getting out of the car Adisyn falls on the box and smashes the cookies. I was devastated!! The good news, only a few cookies were a complete loss. It was so cute his teacher had planned a special celebration for him since it was his last day. She had made him a shirt that said"Elephants never forget, and we will never forget you" and on the back there were elephant prints with everyone in the class name on one. So cute!! She had also sent home an elephant with everyone and they had all colored them and wrote a note to him on the back. It was so sweet and something he can keep forever!! So after Brayden passed out his treat they were singing their end of school song and after Mrs Nelson said "does anyone want to give Brayden a hug bye?" Well first let me back track. A few weeks ago while I was fixing breakfast Brayden said to me "Mom, Mekelle kissed me yesterday and said she loved me and was going to marry me." I tried so hard to hide my laughs. This sweet little girl has been telling Brayden she thinks he is handsome and she loves him for quite some time now. I love it, it totally cracks me up!! So back to hugging him bye. After she asked this this little Mekelle jumps up and wraps her arms around him and kisses him on the cheek!! Then all the other kids get in around them and give him a hug. I was so mad I had left my camera on the counter. It was the sweetest thing ever and of course I start bawling!! I am such a baby. We are going to miss his school, our friends, and everything about this area. I have loved living here and am sad to leave, but I am also looking forward to the new chapter ahead!

Adi's Birthday

Yesterday was Adi's birthday and my little girl is 3 now!! I can't believe it, it makes me so sad she is growing up!! The night before her birthday I was kissing her goodnight and tucking her in and she said "mommy, tomorrow's my birday", it was so cute and then the next morning she woke up came into our room and I said "Adi what is today?", and she got a huge grin on her face and said "My birday!"
That morning we went out to the check on the new house, and then BJ had to go to Gandolfo's for breakfast(I think that is the main reason we went to the house so early!) Then came back home and played till dinner time. We went to McDonald's for dinner and let the kids play on the playland, which for them is a treat because we usually go through the drive thru! Then back home for cake and ice cream with family. I think she had a good day. I know she got overwhelmed because when BJ brought out her trike and everyone was looking at her she got a horrified look on her face and started crying saying "mommy, mommy" because she couldn't find me amongst everyone, but after she settled down she liked her trike and had fun playing!

She got a Dora trike, The Little Mermaid DVD, clothes(us), a princess blanket (Bean),2 outfits(Haylee and Adam), church dress(grandparents John), princess dress(nana & poppy), Princess game on dvd(Jed & Maegen). Thanks to everyone!!

She put on her princess dress and when she came out to show everyone she bowed just like in the movies!! It was so cute!!
