Jace is 3!!

I just love this kid!(Playing Horton Hears a Who)

Today my baby is 3! I have had many people ask me if I am having anxiety about my baby turning 3 and really today is no different than yesterday no big change has happened in our life, the anxiety will come in the fall when he starts preschool! I decided that having a 3 year olds birthday is much easier than the other kids, no parties to plan just a day of fun! I think he had a good day, I know I had a fun day just playing and not having to cook or prepare 1 meal!! The day started off when Jace woke up at 6:40, not sure why it was so early today, but I got to snuggle and play with him before I had to get Brayden up for school. When I asked him what he wanted for breakfast he said "cimmanon rolls" so I quickly ran to McDonald's and grabbed some breakfast before Brayden had to leave for school. We had planned to take him to Chuck E Cheese to play, but we didn't tell him where we were going I just said it was a surprise. We picked up Sandra, Brandon, and Whitney and we were off. Jace fell asleep in the car on the way there so when I woke him up while I was getting him out of the car and he saw the Chuck E Cheese sign he was thrilled. It was so nice there was no crowd just a few people there and the kids played their little hearts out. After Chuck E Cheese we drove down the rode to eat lunch at Chik-Fil-A, and let the kids play on the playland. After lunch we headed home and just played the rest of the afternoon. For dinner we headed over to Olive Garden(Jace's choice) for dinner. BJ and Aunt Bean met us there. We had a nice dinner and then headed home to open presents. Jace got a scooter, Diego legos, new shoes, and clothes, the movie Bolt, and Buzz Light year gun(which he couldn't be happier about) he kept saying "I can't believe I got it." We had been to the mall twice in the past few weeks and both times went into the Disney store and he would run straight for the gun both times! We will celebrate later this week with more family and have more parties, but for now that was our day of fun and celebrating Jace! A funny thing about Jace right now is he does NOT want to get big. Not sure where this came from, but this morning while I was getting ready he came into my bathroom and asked me if 3 was big and I said yes, and he said "well its still kinda little right?" He tells me he is not going to preschool because he says I will miss him too much. Oh, he is right I will! We love you so much Jace, you keep us laughing and are so funny with your hands on your hips and your silly expressions! Happy Birthday Rooster, we love you to pieces!!!

Brayden Loves BYU!

Anyone who knows Brayden knows of his love for BYU! His #1 is football, but he will also follow BYU's basketball as well. While it is so fun to see him have his favorite team and watch him and his friends outside playing football pretending to be the players it can be really annoying at times. Sometimes I swear all he thinks about is BYU sports. We will be sitting in church and he will lean over and ask some question about BYU, or eating dinner and he will ask random things about it. Infact this morning I heard him ask his dad why they didn't follow BYU baseball, so who knows Brayden may start. His new thing is to now wake up as early as possible and go out and get the newspaper get the sports section out and read about either BYU or the Jazz. His love for sports (BYU especially) just started with last years football season, not really sure how it started but it did and it continues to grow. He is crazy about it. So with that being said BJ decided to take him to the last BYU game of the season. They have been to a few others, and so decided they would go one last time this season. Brayden begged to have his face painted, he wanted to try and get on the big screen at the Marriott Center. Bless his heart! So he talked me into painting BYU on his face. BJ was not thrilled with this because he isn't a fan of sporting BYU paraphernalia, but Brayden was ecstatic. So they leave for the game, I get a text form BJ about 30 or so minutes later saying the game was sold out! I was so sad for Brayden he was so disappointed. Oh well only 6 more months til football season!

President's Day Weekend

The kids were out of school for President's Day so Sunday my brother was in town and came and picked up Adi and took her to my moms to have a sleepover with nana. She was so excited to go all alone and leaver her brothers behind. They however weren't as thrilled, but they'll get their turn soon. Anyways we decided that to pick her up we would meet Monday at Chuck E Cheese. We had promised Jace if he would start sleeping and staying in his own bed he could go to Chuck E Cheese, and he did so that's where we went. Both my sisters, my brother, my parents and my nieces came with us. BJ was lucky enough to have to work so he missed out on all the fun. I really don't like Chuck E Cheese, but the kids had a blast and you can't complain when $10 entertains 4 kids for 2 hours!! After Chuck E Cheese we went to Training Table to get some good food for lunch. It was a fun day and nice to do something on the kids day off.

Brayden with all his tickets, however Adi did beat him by 1 ticket. She rocked at Spongebob Bowling!!
Seriously she was so so good, getting strikes all over the place!
Jace loves horses, so this was where he spent most of his time!

Draper Temple Open House

We had the opportunity to go through the Draper Temple. We had tried to go through a few weeks ago on a Saturday, but the wait was hours long so we just left and got tickets again for a Monday morning when the kids were out of school. BJ wasn't able to come he had to work, but then ended up being sick so still couldn't go, so my mom and dad met the kids and I there. We watched a short video about temples and then boarded the bus to head up to the temple. The temple was beautiful as all temples are. It was fun explaining each part and room of the temple to Brayden and Adisyn. Jace got bored with the whole thing, but hung in there and was pretty good. After we saw the temple we went to the church and had cookies and water while we waited for our bus to take us back to the church where our car was. After the temple we went to IHOP and had some breakfast. It was disgusting! It was a nice start to the week to be able to take my kids to see the temple.

Frigis 5k

Yes I ran a 5k last Saturday morning! It was a real race with a starting horn, numbers to pin on you, and a clock at the finish line. I ran with the best partner ever, Sandra!! She pushes me and is a great motivator for me! We did it faster than we expected and she probably could have done it even faster if she didn't wait for me! It was pretty cold outside and the air was absolutely horrible, but we ran it anyways and had a good time!! My lungs hurt so bad from breathing the cold yucky air, but we still finished it! I will have to say the highlight of the race for me was not so much the finishing faster than we thought, but my awesome hot pink legwarmers! Not only did they match my running outfit and keep my legs warm, but I got compliments on how great they were! Love it!!

Picture kinda sucks, BJ didn't do a very good job! But I needed some documentation I really did it!!
The AWESOME legwarmers!

Walking with Dinosaurs

Brayden got tickets to Walking with Dinosaurs for Christmas this year, so BJ, Bray and I got to go. We made a night of it and got a sitter for the younger 2 and just the 3 of us went to dinner and then the show. We picked BJ up from work and went to Chili's for dinner, then went to the show. Let's just say that the dinosaurs were pretty cool, and that is all I will say about the show. Brayden thought it was great and since they were his tickets I am glad he enjoyed it! Pictures coming soon!

Adi's 5!!

Adisyn turned 5 on the 6 of January. We started the birthday celebration off a few days early and partied a few days late. We tend to do that in our family with birthdays! The week before her birthday gandparents John and great grandpa Fielding came over for dinner and to celebrate. Then a few days after that we had nana & poppy, and the whole gang over to celebrate! All aunts and uncles and all 2 cousins came to join in the celebration! It was a fun day and she got wonderful gifts. We didn't get to go out and celebrate on her actual birthday like we had planned because Jace had strep. So we just stayed home and ate Artic Circle for dinner and opened her presents. She had been wanting a dog and so we got her one that barks and wiggles, closest thing she'll ever get a dog living under her dad's roof! She also got a carrying case for it, and Sharpay hair(her words). Pictures to come!! Then Wednesday she had a few neighbors who weren't coming to her Princess Party over for cupcakes so they could be included in the festivities too. Then finally the long awaited Saturday came. It was her first birthday party with friends! She decided she wanted to go to the salon(like mom) and get her nails done, so we made a party out of it. We had lunch and everything was decked out in pink. We had tutu's, and a crown for each girl. After lunch we headed up to the Nail Lodge and they each got to pick their own color and then get their nails done. After the party we came back to the house for presents, and cake and ice cream. It was by far the easiest party I have ever done and they had a good time! BJ took the boys to Cabela's and to lunch. Poor Bray was the one to have strep this day and so he wasn't feeling too good, but it was a girls only party so he couldn't stay here!! We celebrated our guts out, so here's to you Adi, you are a little stinker, but are my best girl! You are a great sister and an extra mommy to your brothers. You are my little pal and I love it! We love you so much, Happy Birthday!!

Janessa's Wedding

December 27 BJ's sister Janessa got married in the Vernal temple. We had to be out there on the 26 for her endowment session. The roads were terrible and I worried we wouldn't make it, but we did and I am so happy we did. We decided to stay in a hotel so there weren't too many extra people running around the day of the wedding and trying to get everyone ready we thought a hotel might make it easier on everyone. The kids loved staying in the hotel and it was nice to have a pool and hottub to be able to use during down time. Everything that day was lovely, the ceremony, recpetion, food, etc. It was however a chilly 10 or so degrees , but then again it is December in Vernal!
The kids waiting for pictures after the ceremony. It was so cold!!
The happy couple!
Waiting for the luncheon to start

At the reception
This is what Bray thought of the reception!

Not sure what is wrong with him?
And then Adi dropped my camera and broke it! I was so mad, but luckily it is still under warranty so hopefully I will be back to taking pictures soon!

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was fun and didn't start too early! Brayden got up at 6:15 but we told him he had to wait til atleast 7 before we would wake the others up if they weren't awake. Adi woke up about 7 and we let Jace sleep til 7:30, he doesn't take to well to being woken up. Brayden was so good for being up for over an hour before we would let him go out! Christmas morning was fun and the kids got what they asked for and had a good time. Brayden got a BYU football helmet, shoulder pads, football pants, Colts jersey, and tickets to Walking with Dinosaurs. Adi got Barbie TV chef, and a cd player/karaoke machine(HSM3 cd). Jace got a rocking horse, and a geo trax airplane. Plus plenty of other things from grandparents, mom and dad, and each other. Another thing different this year was we didn't go to my grandparents like we usually do. It is hard for everyone to get there and everywhere else they need to be on Christmas Day so the parties changed to after Christmas which we had to miss this year. The kids were sad but we'll be there next year!
Maybe a little big!

So cute, I mean tough!

Look what I got!

Yee haw!

BJ enjoying Christmas!

You'd think that an xbox 360 and guitar hero would get a smile!
Ok maybe I see a little smile!

Giddy up!

Merry Christmas! It was a good one!!

Christmas Eve

This year our Christmas had a few wrenches thrown in it so we had to do things a little different. The weather played a part and BJ's sister getting married 2 days after Christmas made things a little different too. First off because the weather was suppose to be so crazy Christmas and that was the only day we had to spend with my family we decided at midnight on the 23 to go to my moms on Christmas Eve to beat the storm. I had to get everything ready and when I finally got that done and about to sleep Jace woke up throwing up, great! So I was up til 4:30 with him and worrying that we would be stuck home. Luckily he was all better when he finally woke up Christmas Eve so plans were still on. My sister came to pick us up since BJ took the van to work and was meeting us in Brigham after so we would only have 1 car for the weekend. We all finally arrived and we had a fun Christmas Eve eating, playing games, reading books, and hitting each other with empty wrapping paper sticks!
