Christmas 2009

Finally to Christmas! We had a good one this year. Santa brought Brayden and Adi nintendo ds's, while Jace got a leapster. Jace also got a big horse, that just stands there and does absolutely nothing. Brayden got Jazz tickets, and Adi well not reallys ure what else Adi got, again its been way too long. Enjoy the pics!

Every year the elementary school does a Christmas sing, all the grades perform a few songs. It is very fun to go and watch and this year Adi got to join in as well, just a few more years and all 3 of them will be participating!

Reflections

Brayden decided to enter his schools reflections contest this year. The theme was beauty is... Well anyone that knows Brayden knows he LOVES BYU, anything BYU he loves. He writes BYU all over his school papers and loves going to basketball and football games. So he decided to draw a picture of the mountain that has the Y on it. He did a fantastic job. He won some special award, not quite sure what it was, but he got a special ribbon and they called his name to go up on stage and receive his award and his name was in the program. You can't really see his picture in this picture, but it turned out great! Good job Bray!!!

Halloween Boat Ride

Since fall was so crazy with Brayden's football and BYU football games I wanted to do something fun for all the kids. So I decided to try a Halloween boat ride, it ended up being rather ridiculous, but the climbing wall was a big hit and then Krispy Kreme after.

Still trying to get caught up, I think I skipped over our little vacation to Yellowstone. We decided that for Fall Break we would take the kids to Yellowstone. My mom loves Yellowstone and found a great deal on hotel, so we agreed to go. BJ loves to fish(duh) but isn't huge on family vacations, but since it was Yellowstone he agreed. Personally I don't really like Yellowstone, but the kids need to see it and I'll take any vacation big or small I can get! Poor Brayden woke up sick the morning we left, and was pretty sick that whole day and part of the next, but he still was a trooper and enjoyed what he could. BJ spent what time he could fishing and I drove around the park with the kids my parents and my brother and sister in law. We saw Old Faithful, and plenty of bison and elk. We went to some place can't remember the name, that's what happens when you wait 6+ months to blog about something, and the kids got to put food out for the bears to eat. They absolutely loved it! Well Jace wasn't old enough, but Bray and Adi liked it. The kids enjoyed the trip and I enjoyed spending time all together!
